Erskine Funderburg is a founding member of the law firm created in 1992 in Pell City, Alabama. The firm began as a general law practice along with a real estate title insurance agency, Coosa Valley Title Company. Erskine has represented clients in a broad range of areas in state court including personal injury, real estate, criminal defense, probate, and various civil matters. Today, his primary practice focus is in courtroom litigation matters in both civil and criminal cases. For more than thirty-five years, he has represented various clients, including individuals, businesses, and municipal governments.
Erskine is currently chairman of the St. Clair County Airport Authority and has served on the Pell City Educational Foundation. He also served two terms as an Alabama Bar Commissioner for the 30th Judicial Circuit. For over thirty years, he has been a member of the White Flag Club at the Talladega Superspeedway and a Mason.
Erskine was born and raised in Pell City, Alabama. He has one daughter, Julia, a child life specialist at Children’s Hospital. He holds a private pilot license and has been a part of various local charities for many years. He is a graduate of Pell City High School, Auburn University, and the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. His entire career has been practicing law in St. Clair County, and as such, he has developed friendships and relationships to provide clients an honest, impartial, and effective legal representation.
